DIRECTIONS

From the East via M4. Follow the M4 to its end at Pont Abraham. Continue on the A48 to Carmarthen. At the roundabout, at Pensarn, (McDonalds/Morrisons/K.F.C. to the left, )… turn right ,

(1.) follow A40 towards Llandeilo, also signposted “H” for hospital. You drive straight on at next roundabout (Currys/ The Range) and continue along dual carriageway and at next roundabout take left “H” and Lampeter.

(2)At next roundabout take right towards Lampeter , A485 north.

After 1 mile you will enter the village of Peniel.

(3) Take 2nd right into Pantyfedwen. Drive through the new houses:do not turn off. This will take you out of village to a T-Junction marked “Capel y Groes ½ mile” to the left.

Turn left, down hill , over 2 stone bridges, uphill and face Capel y Groes church (West Wales Canine Hydrotherapy)

Do not turn off, follow church wall, and pass 2 houses (Gwer Y Berllan and Montrose) on your right. Stay on this road and you will find Red Kite Cottage next on the right and pull in to the graveled forecourt in front of the cottage.

From East via A40. Follow A40 to Abergwili . At roundabout drive straight over following signs to Carmarthen, “H” hospital.

Take right at next roundabout, and (2) right again at the following roundabout and follow above directions from A485 towards Lampeter

From West (St Clears) A40. At B&Q roundabout follow signs A40 right to Pensarn

Roundabout. Take left follow signs to “H” hospital and Llandeilo and follow directions for (1) onwards

From North via A485. Enter Peniel village and take first left Pantyfedwen and follow

(3) onwards

Please note the mile of single track lanes from the A485 to the cottage are popular with walkers, and pets, and used at all times of day and night by agricultural vehicles.

Please, for your safety , do not exceed 20mph and be very vigilant at corners, and we look forward to your safe arrival and stay!

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT - The cottage is accessed from a level graveled parking area , via a paved slope with steel handrail and entered through double width french doors. The cottage is on one level, no stairs and open plan in the living areas. The shower has a low level entry tray and wall mounted grabrail
